Who we are:

Directed by Jessica Lee, the Young Choral Artists will begin its first season in September 2010!  The choir will rehearse once a week for 1.5 hours and perform up to four times a year.  Performances will include collaborations with the Salt Lake Choral Artists, as well as other children's choirs and youth performing groups in the community.

Goals for Singers:

1.   Have a super rockin' good time!

2.   Explore a variety of literature and learn the history surrounding the music that we sing.

3.   Build confidence, character, leadership, and develop personal responsibility and concern for others.

4.   Share music effectively with an audience; be able to communicate a message to them.

5.   Strive for excellence in rehearsal and performance.

6.   Learn how to work in and be part of a musical team.

7.   Learn correct vocal production.

8.   Master the basics of musical literacy, including reading pitch and rhythm.

9.   Learn how to listen to themselves and others.

10. Become aurally and physically aware
