The fifth annual Salt Lake Choral Artists Summer Choral Institute is open to choral music teachers, choral enthusiasts, and singers of all ages. Each of the sessions will focus on several works by one composer or repertoire unified by a theme.
Participants will sing, study, rehearse, and perform under the direction of Artistic Director Brady Allred in beautiful Libby Gardner Concert Hall at the University of Utah.
Each SCI concert will feature the award winning Salt Lake Vocal Artists who will be traveling to Argentina to sing at the World Symposium on Choral Music this August.
With daytime, evening and weekend activities, we offer a session to fit every schedule.
Families are encouraged to participate together in one or more sessions—with a special family discount. Families of three will receive a $5 discount off the price of each participant. Families of four or more will receive a $10 discount off the price of each participant.

Disney Spectacular

Be our guest at this first-ever SCI Disney session! We'll explore the world of Disney music from the classics vault to new releases, and from the silver screen to the Broadway stage! Joined by the SCI Totally Choral Kids Camp Choir, we'll make some of the happiest music on earth!

This five-day seminar with internationally recognized choral conductor, Dr. Brady Allred assists choral music students of all ability levels. From beat patterns to diction, from gesture to score preparation, brush up your baton and learn all you need to get you on the road to better choral conducting! The class will meet daily and will include both group and individual instruction, depending on your needs.

Blast off the summer with some dynamite music fun! In addition to a concert at Libby Gardner Hall, classes will include voice, movement/dance for the stage, rhythm, acting, and more!
From the heart of the mountains in the west, Don Ripplinger, former Associate Conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and Brady Allred will bring you some of your favorites from the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Enjoy singing pieces that span the vast history and repertoire of this internationally renowned choir!
