Mentors: Salt Lake Vocal Artists & the SLCA Chamber Choir
Options for Participation:
Individual Student Participation (January 6-March 26, 2016-see schedule)
a. Complete the Participation Form and have a teacher’s endorsement.
b. Pay a $10 fee for the music.
c. Commit to attend rehearsals on Wednesday afternoons 4-6 pm according to the published schedule.
d. Commit to participate in the final rehearsals and concert.
e. Practice the music with the individual practice files that will be provided.
f. Pay the $75 non-refundable fee on or by January 6, 2016.
School Participation (an established school choir)
a. Prepare the repertoire during regular school rehearsal time with teacher.
b. Schedule rehearsal times for Dr. Allred to attend and rehearse the choir and check on preparation. (You may schedule as many “clinics” as possible.)
c. Commit to participate in the final rehearsals and concert.
d. School will provide music for the students. SLCA will provide practice files for individual preparation.
e. Students may also attend the Wednesday rehearsals for extra practice as needed or as required by the teachers.
f. Student fee is $75 per student to be collected by the school and paid to SLCA. The school may also just pay the total fee if the budget allows. If there are a large group of students participating the fee can be adjusted.
